Follow up Mission to the Republic of Zimbabwe

15 June 2019. Harare, Zimbabwe: The African Committee of Experts on the Rights and Welfare of the Child (ACERWC) has just finalized a follow-up Mission to monitor the status of the implementation of its Concluding Observations and Recommendations in Zimbabwe. The Mission was held from 12 to 15 June 2019, in Harare, Zimbabwe. The Mission was led by Honorable Goitseone Nanikie Nkwe, Chairperson of the ACERWC. The Concluding Observations and Recommendations were sent to the Government of Zimbabwe in 2015 following the Committee’s consideration of the State Party’s Initial Report on the Implementation of the African Children’s Charter.
