Application for Observer Status
The framework of cooperation between the Committee and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) is outlined in the Committee’s Rules of Procedure (Rules 34, 37, 81 and 82). Moreover, the Committee has developed Criteria for Granting Observer Status to Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and Associations. CSOs who fulfil the Criteria and are interested in working closely with the Committee can apply for observer Status. Applications can be sent through [email protected] by attaching the necessary documents.
Guidelines for reporting
Pursuant to section V(2) of the Criteria for Granting Observer Status, CSOs with observer status are required to submit analytical reports on their activities every two (2) years. The Committee has also developed Guidelines on the Reports of CSOs to the Committee which are intended to provide guidance to CSOs with Observer Status in compiling their reports.
