Overview

The ACERWC established the Working Group on Implementation of Decisions and Recommendations to strengthen follow‑up and ensure States comply with its rulings. The Group develops compliance guidelines, monitors remedial measures for victims, gathers input from civil society, and reports annually on progress. In 2022, its mandate was expanded to also track AU policy organs’ decisions on children’s rights, reinforcing accountability and advancing the realization of the African Children’s Charter.
